Court & ball: The game will be played on half the court using one basket
Team: Each team will consist of 4 to 6 players, with 3 players on the court at all times, remaining players will be substitutes.
Officials: 1 referee and 1 parent volunteer to keep score and control the clock
Beginning of game: The team wearing white will start the game with the ball at half court.
Scoring: Each basket (field goal) made will count as 2 points. Each free throw made will count as 1 point. There will be no 3-point shots.
Playing time: Each game will have a running clock of 20 minutes. Clock will not be stopped for dead balls or foul shots. Play will be stopped at approximate 5 minutes to allow for substitutions. All players must play at least half of the game. Coaches need to ensure all players play half of the game.
Fouls/Free throws: Fouls called when a player is not shooting will result in the offended team taking the ball out of bounds. Fouls called when a player is shooting will result in that player being awarded only 1 foul shot (whether the ball goes in or not, only 1 shot is awarded). If a player receives 5 fouls, they will no longer be able to participate in the game. There will be no ‘total team’ foul penalties, no one-and-one situations with foul shots.
How the Ball is Played: After the start of the game, once the ball is in play, when team 1 takes a shot at the basket, if team 1 gets the rebound, team 1 continues playing the ball. If team 2 gets the rebound, team 2 must take the ball to the circle at half court and start their turn with the ball. They can take the ball to half court by dribbling or passing to another player. In the 7 & 8 division, there will be no pressing, and that team is allowed to take the ball to half court uncontested. In all other age groups, the other team can make a play for the ball.
Substitutions: Substitutions can be done by either team when the ball becomes dead. The substitute can enter the game after his teammate steps off the court and establishes contact with him/her.
Timeouts: 2 30-second timeouts are granted to each team.
WYSC Will be hosting a 3v3 game-only Winter Basketball Season.
We will have very limited Gym space and each division will be limited to 12 teams only.
Teams will be co-ed consist of 4-6 players in the age divisions: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12/13. Each game will have a running clock of 20 minutes. The qualifications for the age of your children will be based on how old they are as of January 1st 2021.
The cost of the program will be $95 for each individual registration and the fee will include a WYSC shirt for each player with a printed number on it.
If Coaches would like to bring a team, the cost of a team registration is $500 per team and the team would be responsible for bringing their own uniforms with numbers printed on the back.
Players will be required to turn in the Hold Harmless Waiver signed by a parent and/or Guardian before they will be allowed to step on the courts.

Indoor - 3on3 Hoops Games & Drills & Skills for 5/6 year olds Winter Basketball 2021

Description
WYSC Will be hosting a 3v3 or 5v5 games and Drills/Skills for 5/6 year old boys and girls this Winter Basketball Season.
We will have very limited Gym space and each division will be limited to 4 teams only. We will have a max of only 24 registrants for this age division.
Teams will be co-ed consist of 4-6 players ages 5/6 co-ed. The qualifications for the age of your children will be based on how old they are as of January 1st 2021.
The cost of the program will be $95 for each individual registration and the fee will include a WYSC shirt for each player.
Players will be required to turn in the Hold Harmless Waiver signed by a parent and/or Guardian before they will be allowed to step on the courts.
One spectator will be allowed per player. Players will have to have their temperature checked before stepping on the courts. Anyone with a fever of 100.4 or higher will need to leave immediately.
